The book is categorized into eight different sections of psalms: Psalms of Creation, Psalms of Gratitude, Psalms of Adoration, Psalms of Lamentation, Psalms of Meditation, Psalms of Hope, Psalms of Praise and Psalms of Thanksgiving.
